ABSTRACT
Objective@#To make laboratorial diagnosis of imported yellow fever (YF) cases in Fujian province with molecular method .@*Methods@#Serum and urine samples were collected from suspected cases at various time-points post illness onset. Real-time RT-PCR and nested RT-PCR were performed respectively for viral specific nucleotide detection and fragment amplification. Sequencing and restrictive fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) method were used to identify the wild virus infection.@*Results@#A total of five cases with wild yellow fever virus (YFV) infection were confirmed in this study. It revealed that the viral agent belonged to Angola-71 like YFV, and the duration of viral agent in urine was longer than that in serum.@*Conclusions@#Simultaneous detection of serum and urine samples would increase detection sensitivity, and further RFLP method contributed to rapid identification of wild YFV infection and exclusion of positive result due to recent vaccination.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of remifentanil-induced controlled hypotension (CH) on postoperative cogni-tive dysfunction (POCD) and serum S100β protein in elderly patients underwent spinal surgery,and to investigate their relation-ship. METHODS:Sixty elderly patients undergoing selective laminectomy decompression internal fixation of lumbar or thoracic fractures under general anesthesia were selected prospectively from orthopedics department of our hospital during Jan. 2014-Dec. 2015,and then divided into CH group and non-CH group in accordance with random number table,with 30 cases in each group. Both groups received general anesthesia of injection and inhalation via endotracheal intubation. Mean arterial pressure (MAP) of CH group were reduced to 70%-80%of the basic values by adjusting remifentanil infusion rate;those of non-CH group were main-tained at basic level. Surgery duration,anesthesia duration,intraoperative blood loss,the incidence of POCD and serum concentra-tion of S100β protein were observed in 2 groups. The relationship of serum concentration of S100β protein with POCD was ana-lyzed,and the occurrence of ADR was recorded. RESULTS:The intraoperative blood loss of CH group was significantly less than that of non-CH group,with statistical significance (P0.05). The incidence of POCD and serum concentration of S100β protein in CH group were significantly higher than in non-CH group on the 2nd and 3rd day after surgery,with statistical significance(P<0.05). The serum concentration of S100β protein may be related to the incidence of POCD (r=0.992 7,P=0.001 3). CONCLU-SIONS:Remifentanil CH used in elderly patients underwent spinal surgery can reduce intraoperative blood loss,but increase the se-rum concentration of S100βprotein and the incidence of POCD at early stage.

Objective To observe the effect of continuous pumped dexmedetomidine on hemodynamics, awakening quality and stress response in double -lumen tube extubation patients.Methods 60 patients with thoracic surgery were divided into saline group(group N,n =30)and Dex group(group D,n =30).Both two groups were continuously pumped NS and dexmedetomidine respectively 20min before anesthesia.MAP,HR and SpO2 at different time points during the surgery were recorded.Extracted 5ml arterial blood at the time point of T0 and T3,centrifugated and stored at -80 ℃ for testing renin levels.The extubation time,restlessness incidence,orientation recovery time, extubation quality score were recorded.Results The values of MAP in group D at time points of T0,T1,T2,T3,T4 were (97 ±15)mmHg,(102 ±12)mmHg,(103 ±11)mmHg,(98 ±12)mmHg,(96 ±13)mmHg.The values of HR in group D at different time points were (69 ±9)times/min,(80 ±6)times/min,(90 ±7)times/min,(74 ±5)times/min,(73 ±6)times/min.The values of SpO2 in group D at different time points were (95 ±3)%,(98 ±2)%,(98 ± 2)%,(95 ±3)%,(96 ±2)%.The values of MAP in group N at time points of T0,T1,T2,T3,T4 were (96 ± 15)mmHg,(112 ±16)mmHg,(120 ±12)mmHg,(117 ±14)mmHg,(102 ±15)mmHg.The values of HR in group N at different time points were (68 ±7)times/min,(84 ±8)times/min,(105 ±6)times/min,(89 ±6)times/min, (80 ±7)times/min.The values of SpO2 in group N at different time points were (96 ±2)%,(98 ±2)%,(97 ± 3)%,(93 ±3)%,(92 ±4)%.The values of MAP,HR,SpO2 at different time points in group D were significantly lower than those in group N,the differences were statistically significant (the t values of MAP at different time points were tT1 =2.74,tT2 =5.72,tT3 =25.63,tT4 =1.66,all P <0.05;the t values of HR at different time points were tT1 =2.20,tT2 =8.91,tT3 =10.52,tT4 =4.16,all P <0.05;the t values of SpO2 at different time points were tT1 =0.00,tT2 =1.52,tT3 =2.58,tT4 =4.9,PT3 <0.05,PT4 <0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups in orientation recovery time[(3.3 ±2.2)min vs (5.2 ±2.3)min,P =0.0018].There was significant difference between the two groups in agitation score[(1.3 ±0.9)vs (2.4 ±1.2)].There was significant difference between the two groups in extubation quality score[(2.1 ±1.2)vs (3.2 ±1.4),P =0.0018].There was statistical difference between the two groups in T3 adrenal hormones[(N:120 ±25.3)pmol/L,(D:93.4 ±23.2)pmol/L,P =0.00].The dose of sufentanil (60.5 ±9.2)μg in group N was higher than (40.4 ±10.2)μg in group D (P =0.001).The dose of remifentanil (3.3 ±0.8)mg in group N was higher than (2.4 ±0.9)mg in group D (P =0.001).Conclusion Continuous pumped dexmedetomidine can effectively improve awakening quality of patients with double -lumen tube.

Aim Toclarifytheeffectofacteosideon proliferation of neural stem cells (NSCs ) from adult mice,as well as the involved signaling pathway.Meth-ods NSCswereisolatedfromthesubventricularzone (SVZ)of adult C57BL/6 mice,then identified by im-munofluorescence staining with Nestin,the marker of NSCs.NSCs were exposed to acteoside (5,10,20,40μmol·L-1 )in absence of mitogen(EGF/bFGF)for 24 h.We employed CCK8 assay to detect NSCs viability and BrdU staining to identify NSCs proliferation.We performed Western blot to quantify the expression level ofp-AktinducedbyacteosideonNSCs.Results With-out mitogen,acteoside increased NSCs proliferation by activating p-Akt,which can be blocked by LY294002, the inhibitor of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.Conclu-sion ActeosidepromotestheproliferationofNSCsfrom adult mice by activating PI3K/AKT pathway.

A new phenolic amide glycoside, cimicifugamide A (1) along with four known compounds, trans-feruloyl tyramine 4-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2), (+)-isolariciresinol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3), cimidahurine (4), and 24-epi-7, 8-didehydrocimigenol-3-O-beta-D-xylopyranoside (5) were isolated from the rhizomes of Cimicifuga dahurica. Compound 3 was identified as a lignan and has been obtained from Cimicifuga genus for the first time. The structure of compound 1 was elucidated by IR, UV, HR-MS and NMR spectroscopic methods.

To study the chemical constituents of Dipsacus asper, chromatographic methods such as D101 macroporous resin, silica gel, octadecylsilyl (ODS) column chromatographic techniques and preparative HPLC were used, and five compounds were isolated from 70% (v/v) ethanol extract of the plant. By using spectroscopic techniques including 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 1H-1H COSY, HSQC, HMBC and TOF-MS, the compounds were identified as 3beta-hydroxy-24-nor-urs-4 (23), 12-dien-28-oic acid (1), ursolic acid (2), oleanolic acid (3), 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnosyl(1 --> 3)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1 --> 3)-alpha-L-rhamnosyl (1 --> 2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl hederagenin 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1 --> 6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester (4), 3-O-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl (1 --> 4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1 --> 4)] [alpha-L-rhamnosyl(1 --> 3)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1 --> 3)-alpha-L-rhamnosyl(1 --> 2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl hederagenin (5), separately. Among them, 1 is a new compound, and 2 is isolated from this plant for the first time.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the anti-shear force,stability and plasticity of reconstruction plate implantation,and to investigate its role in treating acetabular fractures complicated by free bone graft in the joint.METHODS:A computer-based online search of Science Direct and Ei databases (1960-01/2009-10) was performed for related English articles with the keywords of "acetabular fractures,modified ilioinguinal approach,reconstruction plate".In addition,CNKI and CBM database (1994-01/2009-10) were searched for related Chinese articles with the same key words in Chinese.Moreover,related works were manually searched.Studies regarding reconstruction plate implantation in treating acetabular fractures were included,including basic and clinical experiments.RESULTS:Acetabular top is weight loading region of human body,and the fracture should be reducted by the operation.Prior to reconstruction plate for acetabular fracture fixation,bone hook,and Kirschner wire can be used for temporary fixation,and the plate bending angle should be adjusted to accordant with lateral posterior wall or medial anterior wall of the acetabular top,followed by screw threading for fracture fixation.In addition,the screw entrance angle is very important.If the fixation of one plate is not satisfactory,one or two cancellous bone screw or Kirschner wire can be used to enhance the fixation.But the Kirschner wire tail should be bended to prevent dislocation into the pelvic cavity.Moreover,additional plate can be used for further fixation.Reconstruction plate fixation has advantages of anti-shear force,high stability and plasticity,which fully adapt the special appearance of acetabulum.Moreover,the incidence of postoperative plate loosening and breakage is low,and the satisfaction is high.Free bone blocks can be temporarily fixed by Kirschner wire,followed by reconstruction plate fixation.CONCLUSION:Reconstruction plate fixation has good clinical effect and few complications in treating acetabular fractures complicated by free bone blocks in the joint.

The novel 8-Aminoquinoline(8-AQ) derivatives receptor was designed and synthesized.Its struc ture was characterized by NMR and ESI-MS.It was investigated to recognize metal ions such as Cu~(2+), Hg~(2+), Pb~(2+), Zn~(2+), Ni~(2+) and Cd~(2+) via its absorption and fluorescence spectra.The recognition mechanism .and bind ing mode were discussed.The results showed that 8-AQ derivatives 1 coordinated with Cu~(2+) can induce a new absorption peak at 509 nm, which turned the solution to red from colorless.In acetonitrile Hg~(2+) and Cu~(2+) induced dramatic enhancement in the fluorescence of the derivation 1 by 368 and 192 folds.Job plot showed 1:1 stoichiometry between 8-AQ and Cu~(2+) or Hg~(2+).
ABSTRACT
<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To identify the compounds in fruits of Psoralea corylifolia by high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The chromatographic separation was carried out at 30 degrees C on a Diamonsil C18 column (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 microm) eluted in the gradient program. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile (A) and water containing 0.05% formic acid (B). The detection wavelength was at 246 nm and the on-line UV spectra was recorded in the range of 190-400 nm. The mass spectra were obtained by Finnigan LCQ Deca XP(plus) ion trap mass spectrometer in the positive ion mode with ion spray voltage 4.5 kV, sheath gas (N2), 60 arbitrary units, auxiliary gas (N2), 20 arbitrary units; capillary temperature, 350 degrees C, capillary voltage 19 V, tube lens offset voltage 25 V, mass range recorded, m/z 90-800.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Two coumarin glycosides, three coumarins, eight flavonoids and one meroterpene were identified by HPLC-MS method.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The method is simple and rapid for the identification and quality control for the fruits of P. corylifolia.</p>
